Learning From My Gambling Blunders

First to explain why I write this article. I have been wagering on the web or at physical betting houses for a great many years. I have discovered, the fixation can take a hold of you and you will not even realize it until you are flat broke. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in a very short period of time and still on occasion, I will go too far. It seems you are just having a blast until you start to pay attention to your squanderings and the guilt settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" repeatedly. It does not works. Then you feel queasy in your belly and the more you try the faster you lose.

When you see that you are up, STAY on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not say to yourself, "well just maybe one more" and over and over again, trust me, this logic RARELY ever functions. Say you’re betting on slots, have an amount set to the side prior to starting your action. Don’t exceed that boundary, regardless how alluring. If you actually succeed, put that in a different cup. Don’t risk your profits no matter what. Once you have gone through your original set limit, stop. Head out, regardless if it’s on the web or at a land based betting house, do not stick around. Always keep in mind, there will be another day, a different time.

Keep in mind, wagering should be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcannot afford the cost, do not even begin.
